1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Weshare (weshare.rent), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. About Weshare
Weshare is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace that connects item owners ("Owners") with people who want to rent those items ("Renters"). Weshare facilitates the connection but is not a party to the rental transaction between Owner and Renter.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Weshare.
- You must verify your phone number before renting or listing items.
- You must provide accurate information in your profile.
4. Owner Responsibilities
- List items accurately with honest descriptions, photos, and pricing.
- Ensure items are in the described condition and safe to use.
- Respond to rental requests within 24 hours (requests auto-expire after 24h).
- Coordinate pickup/return with the Renter via chat.
- Return any deposit to the Renter after the item is returned in acceptable condition.
- You are solely responsible for any tax obligations related to rental income.
5. Renter Responsibilities
- Use rented items responsibly and return them in the same condition.
- Pay the agreed rental fee and deposit to the Owner at pickup (COD/PromptPay).
- Upload condition photos before and after the rental period.
- Return items on or before the agreed return date.
- Compensate the Owner for any damage, loss, or theft of rented items.
6. Payments
All payments are made directly between Renter and Owner (cash on delivery or PromptPay). Weshare does not process, hold, or guarantee any payments. Weshare is not responsible for payment disputes between users.
7. Deposits
Owners may require a deposit for high-value items. Deposits are collected and returned directly by the Owner. Weshare does not hold deposits. Disputes regarding deposits should be resolved between the parties. If unresolved, contact us for mediation.
8. Reviews and Ratings
- Both parties may leave reviews after a completed rental.
- Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience.
- Fraudulent, abusive, or retaliatory reviews may be removed.
- Users with consistently low ratings may have their accounts suspended.
9. Prohibited Items
The following items may not be listed on Weshare:
- Illegal items or substances.
- Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials.
- Stolen property.
- Items that infringe intellectual property rights.
- Living animals.
10. Liability
Weshare is a marketplace platform only. We do not own, inspect, or insure any items listed. We are not liable for:
- The condition, quality, or safety of listed items.
- Damage to or loss of items during rental.
- Personal injury arising from use of rented items.
- Payment disputes between users.
- Actions or omissions of any user.
11. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service.
- List prohibited items.
- Engage in fraudulent activity.
- Receive multiple complaints from other users.
- Fail to return rented items.
12. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes between users, we encourage direct communication via chat. If a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may contact us at hello@weshare.rent for mediation. For legal matters, Thai law applies and disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Weshare after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
